DEAR NISPED/MASHAV FAMILY

My experience in Israel last November was simply THE BEST, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCE -it was the perfect match between learning by doing (theory and practice) and lot of travels around Israel. I can't put into words what an amazing experience it had been for me, and now – Almost two months later - I can say unto you that I have met with the Government officials i.e. The director of cooperatives in the ministry of Cooperatives in Tanzania Dr.Kashuriza and we have arranged for a meeting with coop stakeholders in Tanzania to see how better Tanzania cooperatives can do for the economy of the country with experience from Israel(the case study of Israel). This will take place in late April 2009. It would give me a great pleasure to meet Mr. Goldman and Dr.Paz again to share these thoughts with them here in Tanzania. You will be updated every step before the actual day of the workshop.

Iam finalising my documents i.e. constitution and rules and regulations for my newly established NGO which will be dealt with ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND COOPERATIVES IN TANZANIA by the name of ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND COOP CENTER(ECC).The major objective is To empower people through seminars, workshops and meetings with the aim of reducing poverty among urban and rural population in Tanzania, To advance and promote entrepreneurial ideas and activities by training people on Enterprise ideas and creative mind as the only option remained to save people from the higher rate unemployment in Tanzania and To inject the heart of cooperatives amongst Tanzanians in order to reach a sustainable human development (the case study of Israel).

I was also thinking that maybe we can initiate a reunion for all of NISPED past graduates through SHALOM CLUB. Iam not sure if the club is existing in Tanzania, but it would be of a good idea to `practice what we were preached’ for the development of our region. We may form a joint task force called NISPED EAST AFRICAN FORUM for both our region countries but under the umbrella of MASHAV/SHALOM CLUB. We can use this forum to get in touch with one another and plan developments of rural population who are lagging behind in every aspect of human development. I would be very happy to hear from you guys.
With Regards,
Magessa, Boniface M.
NISPED GRADUATE (1st Nov-25th Nov 2008)
